Who We Are

"I created the Lilies Gem Foundation to increase access to technology and promote conversations outside of traditional spaces. All of these elements brought me to start Lillies Gem Foundation."

        - Founder, Tamika Yeadon

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a rapid shift towards remote learning, resulting in various social inequalities including political, racial, and technological disparities. Unfortunately, many students attending remote classes have faced challenges, particularly in connecting with their teachers. As a non-profit organization, we aim to support our communities and families by providing them with better access to the necessary technological resources and tools to navigate this new societal landscape.

Our Mission & Vision

Liiles Gems Foundation is a new  grassroot  organization  currently seeking 501c(3) status.  We strive to provide innovative effective means to connect families, schools, and communities with access to technology tools and resources they need to adapt to the changing societal landscape by developing program initiatives and nurture collaborations by reaching the broader community who shares the passion to change community.  Our mission is to impact and empower households that are historically socioeconomically challenged to ensure they are not left behind.

Our Goals

  • Significantly impact families and communities by bridging the digital divide in local communities.

  • To foster new relationships with community leaders and partners, while also collaborating with them to create useful education and training opportunities.

  • Provide underserved families social support, and technical and soft-skills training needed to secure employment.

  • To be able to consistently offer computer hardware, software, and wi-fi services to underserving families and communities.
